SEASONS GREETINGS INFUSED WITH LOVE!

Hello, Dear Parent Friends of the Web!

Here is a touch of my wisdom... to make a difference in the tapestry of life.

TO ONE GREAT FAMILY SO DEAR, AND VAST!

At this very moment, I extend my altruistic heart to all

uncolored by conceptual demarcations

or linguistic elaborations

May we be open in heart and mind

to unveil our cardinal and intrinsic virtue of LOVE, divine!

so we may overcome the illusion of 'self'

awakening to our true nature of 'WISDOM and COMPASSION',
 so limitless and selfless!

May the innate radiance of our sentient heart

- analogous to the sun -

infiltrate the cosmos
unsoiled by attitude, unrewarding and forlorn

May its eternal glow of primordial luminescence

- as that of the moon -

remain unobstructed by mental dullness - of unenlightened sentience.

May we aspire to continually kindle, and to re-kindle,
our ever-waning natural brilliance - veiled by thought,
with all-inclusive mindfulness.

May we not be consumed by the fires of worldly passion, aversion, and delusion;
may we remain with unwavering resolve - through time and circumstance.
 Calm-abiding is bliss, beyond description!

PEACE to ALL that share the one breath of LOVE that permeates all of LIFE!

WISHING YOU ALL THE VERY BEST OF THE SEASON
AND A JOYFUL NEW YEAR 2016!

Let me walk you along the path of peace and grace. Humanity cries out loud for help.

ACTIVISM FOR THE PRACTICE OF GENUINE PEACE AND NON-VIOLENCE IN MONTESSORI

Hello, Dear Parent Friends of the Web!

Here is a touch of my wisdom... to make a difference in the tapestry of life.

Montessori Models of Practice

Under the Guidance of Confused Leadership.

This is my personal reflection as an activist for change in the practice of Montessori.

Today, Montessori is a spectrum of practicesnamed in accordance with its interpreters, interpretations, and implementors. However, Montessori was founded by Dr Maria Montessori upon holistically balanced, compassionately grounded, 'living to learn' ideals.

Dr Montessori understood the cosmic scheme of interconnectedness underpinned by moral principles. She saw that everything exists to serve two concomitant purposesdirectly and indirectlyin that of serving the direct purpose of survival, and the indirect purpose of cooperating to sustain the totality of ever-evolving 'life and being'.

She clearly understood the evolutionary principles in relation to inorganic mattergoverned by the conditioned interactions of substances, and organic mattersubjected to processes of natural selection. Above all, she saw the advent of man empowered with the potential to surpass his inherent instinctual tendencies. Yes, this unique being endowed with an upright and adaptable physique along with a psyche powered by volition, reason, and imagination was looked upon as the determinant of unfolding human time operating in tandem with nature's sublime moral principles of 'equality and reciprocity'.

It is my conviction through my personal life-experiencefrom the very inception of my life in the treasured company of my mother (inspired and trained under Dr. Maria Montessori in 1944), that this educational model was founded based upon a crystallized vision of our intended human purpose, within the vast cosmic scheme of interrelatedness. This purpose is, however, centered upon the notion that the human being, by potential, stands above all other earthly forms of sentience for the simple reason that it is 'a spiritual being' endowed with the capacity to transform or sublimate its instinctual tendencies.

Today, I am deeply concerned about modern day Montessori practicesunder the leadership of supposed pedagogueswhose lives may have been colored by the interpretations and diffusions of their own personal conditionings. Alternatively, these practices may be the outcroppings influenced by a consensus of confused idealists who missed the most basic premise upon which Montessori was founded. Whatever the case might be, under these diluted and deluded practices, so called 'farm school models for adolescents' continue to foster the primitive instinctual tendencies in childrenin the name of 'organic farming' which I apprehend as an adulteration of what Dr Maria Montessori described and intended it to be.

It is truly disheartening that children in these farm school models learn only to nurture their selfish human traits in fulfillment of basic needsas opposed to embracing the higher element of human spiritualitywhile overlooking the precious nature of another life wishing for its own happiness. This, I believe, is a deception of Dr. Montessori's point of perspective and a disingenuous path, overall, in misleading uninformed citizens who venture to understand Montessori, at its best.

I have come to learn that this farm school model seeks to immerse children in the reality of practical life experiences within a network of sociocultural commercial organization. In my opinion, practical life-experience must be grounded upon compassionate moral principles that are inclusive and altruistic wishing happiness for every form of sentience. It must take into consideration the developed earthly conditions of this day and age abundant with a multitude of choices for the exercise of the human free willquite contrary to the primitive earthly conditions that prevailed long ago, justifying the need for hunters and food gatherers. The unfolding story of LIFE, needless to say, exemplifies the characteristics and conditions for human civilization through evolutionary timeunravelling our existential potential from the coarse, gross, physical to the spiritual ascent of man. In consideration of the aforementioned,  why on earth should there be a necessity to revert to our centripetal tendencies?

In a civilized world of relationships, when choices are innumerable, to reiterate, it is beyond my level of higher consciousness as to why today's Montessori advocates learning by practical life experienceengaging adolescents in morally eroding and degrading contrived processes of learning. Under this scheme of staying abreast of a relational world, animals are raisedmasked by the misconstrued notion of caring for theminfluenced by selfish motives, of course! They are slaughtered for food and brought to the tabletop under the expression of 'cultivating self-sufficiency', while claiming to gain an understanding in regard to other intersecting facets of learningto include trade and commerce.

However, this course of advocacy in learning is not in alignment with the hard core principles of PEACE and NON-VIOLENCE in Montessori while it only continues to inflict harm upon helpless creaturesdiminishing the precious nature of these living beings and their right 'to live', as much as we do! There is obviously a systematic desensitization of the human sentiment through the cultivation of this type of utter selfishnesswhen, in fact, the relational world may be equally well understood by means of practical life activities that revolve around organic farming, centered upon the plant world.

It is my personal conviction that the moral principles genuinely advocated by Dr. Maria Montessori have been artfully modifiedin keeping with the interpretations of the ‘modern day pedagogues’ leading the Montessori movement. No reasoning, however, surpasses the ultimate universal moral principles of ‘equality’ (by way of equal respect and reverence towards all beings of sentience) and ‘reciprocity' (by way of causes and their natural consequences in mutual creation) that underpin all acts of human body, speech, and mind.

I am questioning if Maria Montessori who was an ardent proponent of non-violence (during the time of my mother's pioneering training under her, some five decades ago) with her expression...

"when you swat the first fly in the presence of your child, you have set the first example of violence in your home!"

...changed her mind to deviate from her other-centered compassionate approach to grounding children.

All in all, it has always been Dr Montessori's plea to stand resolutelyin adherence to the twin principles of 'equal respect and responsibility'in our efforts to sustain compassionately grounded learning, by experience.

Today, the world suffers from desensitized human conditioning. In our hopefully civilized conditions and settings, the human free will must be exercised nurturing PEACE through non-violence (or no harm inflicted upon other beings of sentience), besides us humans who claimselfishly and instinctivelyto reign supreme. Today our world is ravaged and entangled by human misconceptions, and thereby, the misconducts of human ignorance. All of the natural consequences by which we suffer as 'climate change' and a host of other interdependencies, are due to the ever broadening cracks of moral degradation caused by the misdeeds of human conditioning that we, together, may only transformwith altruistically balanced intentions.

Besides desensitizing adolescents in the name of achieving practical-life oriented, selfishly motivated educational objectives, wouldn’t it make more sense to show them how to protect the environment and its ecological balancefreed from rearing animals for gluttonous meat-consumption that has already taken a considerable toll on this Earth, to our rude awakening?

It is time that we wake up to realize that children of humanity, born innocent, do not deserve to be mislead and desensitized under the ideals of confused Montessori. While we aspire to be civilized beings treading upward along the spiritual ladder, we must never override the fact that we are bestowed with the capacity to mindfully cultivate higher valuesemulating an attitude of loving kindness towards all beings of sentience that deserve our unconditional respect and reverence.  Let us keep in mind, those who are conditioned with a selfish mentality are the very people who will potentially have no problem committing undue harm upon others, for they have been desensitized by life-experienceundermining the preciousness of life to suit their instinctual tendencies.

The aforementioned misuse and misinterpretation of Montessori marked by the expression 'Humane Kindness of the Erdkinder' raises controversy. Erdkindermeaning 'earth child' in Germanseeks to convey Dr. Maria Montessori's educational vision in aid of the psychophysical development of the adolescent. Regrettably, today's practice of 'humane kindness'⏤in so-called Montessori Farm School modelsis centered upon the 'self-serving' human alone while over-looking the precious nature of non-human life; this is seemingly  a moral degradation of Dr. Maria Montessori's all-inclusive compassionate vision.

ETHICALLY BALANCED OTHER-CENTERED COMPASSIONATE ACTIVITY IS THE GUIDING PRINCIPLE THAT MUST UNDERLIE  ALL FACETS OF LEARNING.

This is is the only way to close the gap between violence and non-violence. This, I believe, is what Dr. Maria Montessori intended to convey always!

This Day is to Commemorate PEACE

Reflecting Upon my Own Life!

How well have I lived my purpose as a precious daughter?

How well have I lived my purpose as a loving wife of 47 years?

How well have I lived my purpose as a doting mother to my children?

How well have I lived my purpose as a faithful friend
to all who have crossed my path on Earth?

How well have I lived as a responsible contributor to humanity?

How well have I lived my sacred spiritual human purpose in life?

In Homage to My Beloved Dad

Hello, Dear Parent Friends of the Web!

Here is a touch of my wisdom... to make a difference in the tapestry of life.

On this 28th Day of July 2015

I was my dad's doting daughter, besides two very precious sons

Each of us felt our father's warmth and affection

no less, or no more, than the other one

My father was the epitome of integrity...grounded upon compassionate LOVE

For all beings of sentient kind, who wish for their own happiness, as such!

I thought my father was there for me, forever - in unison with my mom

When I lacked the higher wisdom of looking deeper into the ocean of LOVE

Alas, but one day, the truth came to haunt both me, and my two siblings

When we felt the jolt of pain and suffering -

In the loss of our father...so very heart-wrenching!

There was a VOIDNESS  beyond words that pervaded my mind

No words or tears could express the heaviness of my heart inside

Like a mother who felt the loss of her child, I lamented for my dad, in vain, alright!

I longed, though, for my dad's presence I had cherished all along

From childhood to adulthood - with precious memories

Etched, over and over, in my heart.

As each day and night came to pass I reminisced about dad

with tears rolling down my cheeks, without answers to my inner-questioning

Yes, I realized through passing time, that change is LIFE'S constant, inevitable

Our attachments, alone, bring misery galore, is our mortal nature

The deeper I penetrated the wisdom serene, the more I refined my mental streaming

Nothing is born; nothing dies;

Just mind confused and diffused, in eternity - criss-crossing and over-lapping

Again, and again, forever transforming!

Energy or vitality, is the current of karmic being and becoming

When conditions are present, there is form appearing

When conditions are not present, there is form disappearing

Cyclic nature thus persists, as forms of sentience dwell

As mere 'passengers in transit'

Birth, evolution, preservation, and dissolution - in continuum!

Without origination; without cessation, the reality.

The mind that discerns beyond beginnings and endings experiences 'nirvanic bliss'

While the mind caught up in duality is yet drowned in 'samsaric suffering'

My once precious father, my once precious mother, never really passed away

They breathe and walk with me through each breath and each step.

All beings are our ancestors, whether we agree or not...

Inseparably linked by interdependence, co-existence,

as whole still frames, in eternity, along a causal continuum, in sum

This, is the enduring TRUTH, called 'emptiness' SUPREME and vast!

A Reverent Perspective on Life

Hello, Dear Parent Friends of the Web!

Here is a touch of my wisdom... to make a difference in the tapestry of life.

Every Being of Sentience is a Living Miracle.

A human form, in particular, is a rarity in the vast ocean of infinite possibilities; as a matter of fact, the human condition is the gateway to spiritual ascent through purposive purification and transformation, of course.

The eternal breath of LIFE – as an unbroken cyclic continuum  weaves through every filament of being in the ocean of interdependence and co-existence. As such, each presence of being must be looked upon with deep reverence  as a marvel of interdependence.

Accordingly, all events of life are pivoted upon contingencies in the universal field or matrix of karmic redemption – in alignment with seed causes of purity and defilement sown.

In this vast scheme, each and every being is a wheel in motion  inseparably intertwined and propelled by other wheels, both infinitesimally smaller, and infinitely larger.

Essentially, every 'form' or 'being' is a whirling composite  or a constellation of life-forms  sustained by the sublime force of cooperation that epitomizes the moral order of the universe. Compassion is its very nature, without residue.

For truth to be told, 'all is in the one', and 'one is in the all'; we share the gleaming reality of implicate order.

So let us never take life for granted; each of us is a miraculous expression of cooperation by natural selection. By the same token we, together, are ultimately responsible for the well-being, or ill-being, of the totality of LIFE – on our planet Earth, in particular – by the choices we make in body, speech, and mind.

Let me walk you along the path of peace and grace. Humanity cries out loud for help.

Thoughts of Reflection and Recollection

Hello, Dear Parent Friends of the Web!

Here is a touch of my wisdom... to make a difference in the tapestry of life.

Special Recollections of My Children's Alma Mater

I was present with my children when Hawken School celebrated its 75th founding anniversary! Unforgettable memories flow through my mind colored with precious moments in time! Parents, friends, well wishers, patrons, and cherished alumni at the time, gathered to celebrate the school's rich history of dedicated service to mankind.

Today, 100 years have come to pass laced with mixed memories to ponder, alas! Life is a reservoir of vitality in continuum - strewn with filaments of human joys and rejoices, trials and tribulations, sorrows  and lamentations; this is the stark reality of life-experience!

In viewing LIFE from a loftier vantage point, impermanence, insubstantiality, and impersonality is the intrinsic nature of 'being', slipping into incessant ‘becoming’. As such, our existence 'just here' and 'just now' must be looked upon with deep reverence and great compassion to ALL - criss-crossing and overlapping.

Let us keep in mind, life's continuity is a conditioned exercise contingent upon choices made in body, speech, and mind. Outlook and attitude, indeed, are the key elements that define the future of hopes and dreams!

Our experiences as synthesized realities, to summarize, are the reasons to reflect, introspect, insightfully investigate, and to contemplate, for TRUTH alone is immutable and invincible,  just to be forthright! That being the case, peace and healing arises from the core of our hearts when we realize 'form is in transience, transience is in form! So we may surf the waves of uncertainty and unpredictability, cherishing the shared breath of life with time and place appropriate human conduct – in mindfulness, at all times.

To all of us who hold every life lost, so dear, may we live to revere the unparalleled contributions made by those who lived their purpose through one stage, on Earth, and transited to another phase in eternity! Together, may we offer our kind thoughts, words and deeds to those who must endure all things - the way they are - so they may get through difficult times, paying heed.

Our dear Hawken community, not forgetting the community at large, may you be bestowed with peaceful tidings!

May you grow with inner beauty and strength to withstand the challenges of unfolding time!

May your success and resilience emerge from within - braced upon the wisdom of awareness that surpasses the intellect - in our relative  mind-scheme.

May we all unite, but not divide, to achieve the ultimate potential of humankind.

PEACE to ALL!

Let me walk you along the path of peace and grace. Humanity cries out loud for help.

A Salutation to My Mother!

Hello, Dear Parent Friends of the Web!

Here is a touch of my wisdom... to make a difference in the tapestry of life.

In Commemoration of 100 years,
since her Birth in April 1915!

Book Description:

‘Rhythm of Nature, The Rhythm of Life’ is a meditative and reflective exposition, intended to purvey the illusory human reality that exists—within the peripheries of afflicted, dualistic mind.

Reality, in an ultimate sense, however, is the very ground of infinite potential from which ceaseless phenomena—as ’being’ or ‘non-being’—come to be, defining existence, or non-existence, characterized by interdependent co-emergence.

Accordingly, the universe of simultaneous individuality and collectivity is, in itself, the interactively selfless, ever-evolving and dissolving wonder of magical experience, trapped within the eighteen elements of being—namely, the six sense bases, six sense objects, and six sense consciousnesses—that spring from the primordial essence-mind.

Our sentient experience, with its ephemeral character—marked by incessantly cyclic originations and cessations—entails a sublime call for our contemplative attention; such an adoption of a centered attitude is pivotal towards awakening, while each apparitional microcosmic mind-body—within the macrocosmic
tapestry of interdependence—travels along the path of ‘the present’, through time and space.

May the readers of this compendium of reflective thought ponder over their deeper human purpose which, in a sublime sense, must be to touch the vast ocean called ‘life and being’—untainted and unbiased by compartmentalized thought.

‘Rhythm of Nature, The Rhythm of Life’, to recapitulate, is the melody, and the evanescent wonder, of deep interconnectedness and interpenetration that underlies all of ‘form and being’. It is the awe-inspiring energy of vitality that is orchestrated throughout the entire cosmic scheme or spectrum of phenomenological existence, as synthesized experience in relativity!
