What is Science? Has Science Made us A Better Humanity?

Hello, My Parent Friends of the Web!

Here is a touch of wisdom... to make a difference in the tapestry of life.

SCIENCE

A vision of the outer - of objective realities

A vision as a map to the universe

A vision of the mechanics of matter

A vision, quantitative - limited to experimentation based on measurement, analysis, and judgment

A vision based on observation, confirmation and verification of phenomena limited to the instruments of human potential

A vision, always, of theories, predictions and hypotheses often deeply influenced by scientists metaphysical viewpoints

A vision of constant interaction between theory and observation

A vision influenced by interpretation, status and conformity but not always by critical observation

A vision of agreement between scientific human egos

A vision of incompleteness - as theories to unveil parts of reality within the peripheries of conceptual thought

A vision of fundamental limitation in the structure of reasoning - of linear thought and discursive logic based on sense perception alone

A vision of convenience in convention as uses and abuses

Upon overall examination,

Has science made us a better society with compassionate values?

Has science awakened humanity with moral sensitivity toward the preservation of our earth's resources and its inhabitants?

All said, has science answered the real question of lasting happiness and suffering in humanity?

Let me walk you along the path of peace and grace. Humanity cries out loud for help.
