Hello, Dear Parent Friends of the Web!
Here is a touch of my wisdom... to make a difference in the tapestry of life.
It Dwells in Peace through Infinite Time
Loving kindness is its magnetic energy
Sympathetic joy is its intrinsic expression
Compassion is its luminous being
Equanimity is its very nature, absolute!
Thus, I shall aspire to abide in 'bodhi chitta', meaning altruistic mind
Paying homage to my parents
who have borne me, and shaped my life
with their LOVE, grace, humility, and wisdom, unsurpassed.
Cherishing my precious family with gratitude
for sharing with me their breath of selfless service
in aid of peace, success, and happiness
of all beings - sentient and otherwise - who cross our paths
Honoring those who remain closely attached, or distant, with equal respect
Touching those who remain near, or far, with equal blessings
Showering equal forgiveness to those who live in anger and aggression,
doubt and skepticism, denial and misunderstanding,
envy and jealousy, arrogance and conceit,
and diverse other negative traits that are far too many to describe
Sharing in others' joys and rejoices,
happiness and contentment
success and accomplishments
victories and such
Feeling and lifting the pains, sorrows, and miseries of others
in their defeats and downfalls,
and losses in kind
Remaining eternally grateful to all that is in 'the present'
that has been in 'the past'
And all that will be in 'the future'
I shall aspire to live in magnanimity!
Let me walk you along the path of peace and grace. Humanity cries out loud for help.
