21.      Each moment is ‘the here’ and ‘the now’ within the vast scheme of global interdependence.

22.      Each moment is a depiction of infinite unity and diversity, as one   tapestry, called ‘the cosmos’.

23.      Each moment is a still frame of mind, as universe.

24.      Each moment is the gift of ‘pure presence’ as mind itself.

25.      Each moment contains the past and the future.

26.     Each moment severs the past from the future.

27.      Each moment—as the field of all possibilities—is a moment to be enjoyed with the freedom of our human spirit.

28.      Each moment is the natural abode for loving kindness, compassion, sympathetic joy, and equanimity.

Each moment, in an ultimate sense, is a moment to emanate the wisdom of spaciousness and the brilliance of compassion.

Events in Space and Time

Here is a touch of my wisdom... to make a difference in the tapestry of life.

As Determined by Our Imprints of Body, Speech Mind

The forces of the universe align

To bring forth the fruits of seeds in kind

In the guise of life-events

Of people, things, and phenomena

As world, finite

Whoever, whomever, or whomsoever it might be

 Crosses our path as precise 'form and being'

 With meaning, purpose, and reason

Beyond human speculation

Thus, never by chance, and do not be mistaken!

Such are our life-lessons, insurmountable

To live, to learn, to transform, and to evolve

Through countless interactions

Whatever it might be

 Is meant to be, but none other!

As a product of cooperation - but not segregation

Of life-events in the web of interdependence

As one vast scheme

Of causes, effects, conditions, and circumstances

Neither 'if', 'and', nor 'but' matters

It is for sheer acceptance without alteration

To the highest rank of perfection

 Defying egotistic understanding and intervention

Whenever it might be

Is the exact moment 'supreme, whole, and complete'

In the momentous tapestry of 'form and being'

Conditioned paradox

 Of individual-collective thought-word-deed

However it might be

Is defined by latent imprints of body-mind-spirit nature

And limited relevantly to those eyes of perception

Thus, lying uniquely within the periphery of each observer

Colored by memories conscious-subconscious-unconscious

Spanning through time immemorial

All events are trapped in the three times!

As 'past' and 'future' in vacillating-oscillating time

And 'the all-encompassing present' that severs 'the past' from 'the future'

Through momentary equilibrium

Incessantly, all phenomena come to be

Evolving and Dissolving with aimless, wish-less ease!

 As cooperative conditions are deemed to set in

Nothing is blameworthy in this plan of cosmic interdependence

Letting go of egoistic convention must be the ultimate realization

 All phenomena manifest along the ten directions of space

North, North East, East, South East, South, Southwest, West, Northwest,
Not forgetting the Center and Infinity of Observation

Nothing in existence is coincidental
All of life is marked by reason
And thus fathomable through heightened contemplation
Removing all inclusions of mind - these, the veils of delusion

A mind cleansed beyond space-time awareness
Of one-pointed 'inward' focus - quite contrary to the 'outward'
Will ultimately have the vision, luminous
Of wisdom-compassion
 That shines the light of transformation
In the physical, physiological, and psychological worlds of wonder!

Loving kindness, compassion, sympathetic joy and equanimity
Are solely our natural abodes
 Though tainted by perception

Accept and Let go

Wake-up, humanity, from your inattention!

A child is the blessing of a sacred union

A child carves the future of humanity

A son is the sun of luminous LOVE and name-keeper to his parents

He is the backbone of support, courage, and solidity, to say the least!

A daughter brings the eternal glow and radiance to a mother's heart

while she epitomizes a steadfast spirit of protection and pride to her father

My daughter surpasses all of the above

She is the universe to her parents

She is the guardian angel of the family

She is the sounding board of both subtle resonance and tranquility

She is the ever-accommodating body-mind-spirit to serve the needs of 'presence'

She is the beholder of LOVE and grace to her parents, 

 her precious brother,  her uncles, and  her cousins, not-forgetting her friends of the world

She is all in the world to everyone

She is the symbol of beauty inside out, and outside in!

Of grace and humility, of placidity and purpose, of perseverance and persistence, of balance and harmony

And last, but not least, of focus and integrity!

My daughter is her parents' pride and unmatched prize!

May all parents find the occasion to celebrate the spirit of a loving daughter.

Yet not his birth date, and not quite his birth day!
Just a kind remembrance of a special event
In commemoration, in continuation
Just so I may call it
A happy continuation day

Such is the expression

To be well applicable for each and every day

Till the very end of a process called personality

By form, by  name!

My brother, is ageless and timeless
As all other beings on earth, for goodness sake!
A spiritual being in human guise
Born to serve his human mission, day after day!

First and foremost,

He is one of two precious sons to my parents

 Secondly,

 The most unmatched gem of a brother to his two siblings,

Thirdly,

One brother-in-law - unsurpassed by any other

Fourthly,

An affectionate and doting uncle to his two nieces and two nephews

Fifthly,

A compassionate friend to all who continue to cross his path

Sixthly,

  A dependable colleague to all in his professional case

Last, but not least,

  A very wholesome citizen of our planet Earth
Touching life with his altruistic intention
 Through all tiers and facets of interdependence 
 Whether it be human, animal or other

Yes! my brother is a spiritual being in human guise

  Through every breath of his being in 'the here' and 'the now'

Serving his purpose well in life! 

What else may I say?

Learning by Love

 Is to Epitomize Wholeness

 in Body-Speech-Mind

 

Life, from its very inception, is a process of learning.  It is, fundamentally, the exploration and cultivation of knowledge along a natural, developmental order.  It requires no effort, but nurturing the cause of nature with selfless LOVE, as opposed to biological love.  'Learning by Love', is therefore, the most appropriate and fitting expression to define our unfolding story of life.

 

As parents, we must aspire to be enlightened with this wondrous perspective so that we may help the child - through his growing years into maturity, as adulthood - grounded upon wisdom alone.

We must attempt to enrich ourselves, along with our children, so that we may be immersed in, and inspired by, all of life's offerings. What we call academia, sadly, in a conventional sense, is this all-encompassing knowledge segregated into areas of study, commonly known to be subjects. 

However, it must be noted that knowledge - from a holistic perspective - consists of diverse intersecting aspects that indivisibly and inseparably form the tapestry of 'life and being'.  A child must be led to understand this magnanimous field of crisscrossing, overlapping, cosmic interdependence that continually fashions our very existence.

We are in it together, to be conditioning life with our selfless love, as opposed to selfish love.  If this was the case, learning will never be a chore, but an enjoyment through the entirety of being.

The Promise of Parenting

 As a 'A Help to Life'

Parenting is the outcome of a sacred union of LOVE. A child is most naturally borne, and born to solidify this love with life's intended greater purpose - to sustain humanity that steers our world into the future. It must be cherished with a profound sense of respect, direction and responsibility.

The gift of parenting, therefore, must be treasured with gratitude, since the child is apt to bring bundles of joy, contingent upon our faithful nurturing. This delicate being deserves every breath of our LOVE, and attention we may possibly shower upon him, though they ought to be rooted in the field of selflessness and compassion that, together, pervade our cosmic tapestry of interdependence.

We have, hence, an untold commitment to walk mindfully beside the child, so that we may show him the way to the universal order of all things - when grounded upon moral-sensitive awareness. The child, needless to say, will only grow to learn that 'others' happiness is our happiness, and our happiness is others' happiness. This will be the avenue of harmony leading us to ultimate peace and success in life.

As such, the parents are the pace-setters of life, from the very inception of existence, to its very end. We have no time to waste. The world cries out loud for happiness. It is now our turn to make a justifiable difference at the level of the grass-roots, the family.

What is MInd?

Mind is Everything!

Mind, the immaterial sense organ

It sifts, it sorts, it reflects upon input

Of observable phenomena

By means of five environment senses, in kind

Mind, discerns motion

Through positions of change

Thus patterns defined

In eternal transience

The fact in life!

Mind discerns mind

The only organ

Having the capacity to invert its forces

To intuit, to examine, its own state of mind

As unit of mind

Mind, is motion alone - indiscernible to the eye, ear, nose, tongue, or touch

Mind of motion, the very consequence

Of fifty-two forces or energies - as currents of mind

Chief amongst them, seven common currents

Jointly, of active strength to define

Yet the greatest among them, of course

The evolution current, as the main spring of mind!

Releasing its force to six subsidiary currents

While they together, in turn, align

To sustain its rhythmic force, through 'each present', in time

This, the cause, the phenomenon

Self-perpetuating and pulsating the process of existence

In varying degrees and strengths of mind

The current of evolution

Surges, indeed, with three distinct forces of mind

As such, causing rotations of birth, existence, death in relay order, as beats of mind

As repository of diverse charges, of forces of mind

As diffuser, injector of systematic energy for varied functions of mind

The six other common currents, nonetheless

Springing into active force simultaneously with the evolution current

In rotations, unimaginable  beyond the speed of light

Maintain us in sleep state or dormant life

In waking life of active thought, or sensations

The seven common currents of mind

Bring forth six currents of supplement

To aid production of thought in kind

The thirteen currents in all

Spring in repetition to arrest thought

Thus, currents of thought occur

In waves of reflection, to ponder

These, in turn, may be broadly defined

As currents of purity, and those defiled

Three states of mind - pleasant, neutral, unpleasant

To accord with springing currents of purity, and defiled

Condition the evolution current,continually adjusting its strength, through the infinity of time

Thus, is the continuum of mind

As past-present-future in illusory time!

Mind - the primary factor of the universe - is the reflective organ and phenomenon that surpasses the speed of light!

A Vast and Infinite Self-propellant Being

Analogous to a machine composed of myriad wheels


Ranging from infinitely large to infinitesimally small

Proportions to conceive


Simultaneously engaged and propelled through interdependence

As deemed


Shrinking with the infinity of contraction, and expanding to the infinity of expansion

To say least!




Each portion of cosmos, in its own right - a wheel


Is part of the entirety indeed!


Embodying an infinity of infinitely contracted portions

Of the vast and deep


Each minute wheel in rotation, just a miniature universe of great concentration


The whole, as such, a conglomeration


Of miniature universes in varying proportions




The most powerful, yet, the smallest to conceive


Are wheels of mind as units of being


Sustained through birth-death revolutions infinite

Propelled by seven common currents of mind


As beats of mind in continuum - beyond speed of light




Each beat of mind, thus, a rotation


In the larger wheel, called 'unit of being'


Its speed - three billionth the duration of a flash of lightening

Self Nature, the source and culmination of ten realms of existence that range from 'purity to defiled'

Self Nature, as six realms of desire, and four sage-like - these to arise as states of mind

 Simultaneously and Repetitiously

Matter evolves from mind, and dissolves into the spaciousness of mind.
Thus, mind is matter, and matter is mind.

 

The crux of the matter is that mind endures,
but matter evolves and dissolves. 

Mind is the womb of all events in life
as they evolve to dissolve, and dissolve to evolve.

Mind-events - the objects of mind - arise and dissolve incessantly,
conditioned by the scheme of global interdependence
  as 'being or non-being'.

 
Mind and matter are, thus, an inseparable union, and
a continuum of 'emptiness and appearance' - as
they  fashion each other relentlessly.

Mind contains the entire cosmos as 'mind, and objects of mind'.
It is the paradox of 'one and many, at once'.
What a wondrous marvel!

Mind, 'the ocean' vast and supreme, flows incessantly.
Its waves of life merge into one another through interdependence.
LOVE, as 'compassionate activity', pervades it all.

 Essentially, mind and matter share one nature, as 'ocean and waves'
Mind's balance, though, may only be sustained with investigative insight.

  

We, together, are the waves
relentlessly merging into one another
as 'the individual' and 'the collective'.

Let not be caught up by 'the currents and waves' of our thoughts.
Experience the depth of the ocean in this very moment.

Mind Tamed

Brilliance is the presence of higher mind.
  It is the spontaneous emanation of virtuosity
when we, as parents and elders, display an attitude of equality
towards all things and events that manifest
as 'phenomena' in the universe.

Indeed, it is in our best interest
to model life-experience with radiance,
~ by way of body, speech, and mind ~
consequently, to epitomize LOVE without conditions.

 The children, in turn, will only reflect
the wisdom of our compassion
by giving us a safe return of what we give to them.

The Grand Scheme of Benevolence

Such is the paradox of one and many at once!

As ground and being of coarse, gross nature

As water and waves, or waves upon water

As Fires of life, and transformation

As breath of being, of all-pervasive vitality, the embodiment

As space the womb of celestial and terrestrial wonder

Thus is reality inseparable and indivisible

Spurred by interdependent co-origination, as global co-existence

Thus is the personal and universal, as self within selflessness

As Mind obstructed, in delusion, within the unobstructed

Realization pivotal to the attainment of balance and order

Peace and success, then, the truth and revelation

No mystery to life, but reverence to nature

Is the unstinting truth or the resolute law of phenomenal motion

Mind, Great Self, or Universe

Call by any name

Stands for its wisdom, ultimate

Compassion Luminous
Its true name, untainted!
